Back against the wall captured the feeling of the record and sounded amazing. I didn't like unpeeled all that much. Cage's songs really mesh with acoustic guitar, but I don't want to listen to that for an hour+. CherryChase. 64. This speaks to me like a lot of hard rock/punk music from this time. First half is catchy if a bit rough around the edges. Loses its luster by the mid point, with repetitive song structures & the ever decreasing song writing quality. 5. This album got TRASHED. By like EVERYONE. I. Love. This. Album!! This album's release was a major contributor to what pulled me out of my Cage the Elephant phase. Cage changed my perspective on music, and this album was the first to evolve my own taste in music (pun intended). Besides nostalgia, I love EVERY SINGLE SONG on this album. 1YG4.
